Sentenced To Life For Murder, The Once Standout Career Of Aaron Hernandez Is Over

Sentenced to life imprisonment after being convicted of First-degree murder, the glamour and a standout career of the once famous New England Patriots player, Aaron Hernandez is over.
The former athlete who in his prime had a contract worth $40 million was pronounced guilty for murdering Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of his fiancee. Sentenced to life without parole, Hernandez’s mother and fiancee could be seen crying after the verdict was announced.
Strong evidences were presented by the prosecutors who came up with proofs that Hernandez was with Lloyd at the time of killing and also submitted security videos from his mansion. Witness testimony and cellphone records were also used against him.

To make maters worst for the former football pro, prosecutors have claimed that Lloyd was killed as he knew about his involvement in a deadly 2012 shooting in Boston. Hernandez is now awaiting another trial on murder charges of gunning down two men. He allegedly killed two men over a spilled drink while in a nightclub.
Drafted by the Patriots in the fourth round in 2010, Hernandez was having a successful career before he invited trouble. Immediately after his arrest, the Patriots cut the athlete who was once one of the most productive tight ends for the team.
